Day 1 of PFC

March 1, 2010 By Seth Leave a Comment

Today was a REALLY busy day.  We started out at 7:15 this morning (yes, I was the first person to breakfast… it's a miracle!) and finished around 6:30 PM!  The majority of the day was spent learning about some personality instruments we took that can help us understand how we work in a team setting.  Of particular interest for me was a meeting Kari and I had this afternoon with a Clarion Consultant where we learned about our "Best Contribution" to a team.  Here's what we determined for my three best contributions:

  1. TEACHING AND MENTORING: Imparting knowledge to others through teaching and mentoring so they can become the individuals that they are meant to be
Gifts: Teaching, Exhortation, Knowledge, Word of Wisdom
  2. LEADING: Helping a group of people accomplish the task that is before them while helping them to grow into their gifts and abilities
    Gifts: Facilitating, Leadership, Administration, Promote
  3. VISION CASTING AND STRATEGIZING: Creating a vision for the future and inspiring people to see how they can jump on board to help accomplish it
    Gifts: Macro Design, Promote, Trust

I had to edit those slightly to post here, but you get the general idea.  I'm excited to see how they come into play once we get to Brazil!
