I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us… (Isaiah 63:7a)
Have you been the recipient of the Lord’s kindness? Has He done anything for you that deserves praise? If you answered “yes” to either of those questions, then you have a responsibility.
Far too often, those who have received the Lord’s kindnesses fail to tell others about them. For whatever reason, it’s easy to share about the kindness that other people show to us, but when it comes to the kindness that God shows to us, we stay silent. This should not be!
When you have the opportunity, tell others what God has done for you. They cannot discount your own experience, and it may help them to gain a new perspective on who God is.
Lord, please keep me from being silent as it comes to sharing about Your kindnesses to me. The truth is, You have given me far more than what I deserve; let me be willing to share about those things with other people.
