More doom and gloom (Zephaniah)

Zephaniah seems to be a book with lots more doom and gloom, but it is never without hope.  Though Israel was going to have to face consequences for its actions, God promised that the humble who return to Him might be hidden from His anger.  We are reminded, again, that in the end, there will be joy and restoration for Israel and ultimately for all who turn to the Lord.
