On the Edge (Hosea 5-8)

Life20on20the20edge
The problem with Israel is that it was on the edge.  As a nation, it had moved so far away from what God desired that it couldn't hold on anymore.  It had forward momentum in the wrong direction, and because of its choices, it was hard to turn around.  The same can be true for us, too.  We choose to live life on our own for so long that we get into the mindset of not even being able to turn back to God.  Nothing could be further from the truth, really.  Sorry for the redundancy, but you need to know that the Lord will always welcome you back.  The question is whether or not you'll be willing to return to Him.  Are you living life on the edge?  Maybe it's time to turn around.
