A New Temple (Ezekiel 40-41)

February 12, 2012 By Seth Leave a Comment

Lit-3
The temple that Ezekiel saw in his vision has yet to come to fruition.  The thought by scholars is that this temple will be built during Jesus' thousand year reign on earth – for this reason it is referred to as the "Millennial Temple."  It's amazing that, hundreds of years before Christ came, and thousands of years before His return, God already had a plan for what was to come!  In spite of Israel's punishment and exile, God had not abandoned His people.  This vision served as a reminder for Ezekiel that wasn't dead or asleep but that He was sending His Son to bring hope back to the nation of Israel and to us!
