Another day has come and gone…

June 16, 2008 By Seth Leave a Comment

Most of you probably don't know that I'm in Florida right now.  I'm in a Greek class for seminary, and I needed a week of focused time to work on it.  I head home tomorrow with a little more knowledge of Greek and how to translate the New Testament.  Sunset One of the privileges of working on this in Florida is the beach, and I was able to enjoy sunset at the Naples Pier this evening.  For the first time in my life I saw the sun dip below the horizon and get swallowed up by the ocean – an incredible sight!  As the beautiful sunset transformed into the evening sky, I was amazed at God's faithfulness to us.  How many of you wonder if the sun will rise tomorrow?  Not too many.  Our faithful God allows the sun to rise every day – whether we see it or not.  Tomorrow it will rise and set again, as it will the day after that.  Life moves forward and doesn't wait on us.  One day our Savior will return, and call us home.  Until then, tomorrow comes, and we better make the most of it.
