God must be Irish (Jeremiah 51; Psalm 74)

January 29, 2008 By Seth 1 Comment

There was a saying when I lived in Ireland that the British never remember and the Irish never forget.  It seems, then, that I could make a somewhat logical conclusion that God is Irish because He never forgot His people.  Despite the fact that they turned from Him and that they were sent into slavery, He was still their God, and He acted on their behalf.  It's ironic to me that Babylon, the nation that God allowed to punish Israel, received punishment from God for what she did to Israel.
