One hour (Revelation 12-18)

June 22, 2008 By Seth Leave a Comment

A lot can happen in an hour can't it?  Babies are born, diagnoses are made, wedding ceremonies are completed, the Office season finale takes place, newspapers are read, travels are made, life is taken.  The list of things that can happen during an hour's time could go on and on and on.  God says in Revelation that it will only take one hour to remove Babylon from the face of the earth.  The city responsible for so many people being led astray will, in one hour, be completely destroyed.  The city responsible for the martyrs of many prophets will not exist anymore.  And all it will take is one hour.  Judgment belongs to God, and it is His responsibility.  We are reminded that it is very real and that it will happen.  Our responsibility is to be ready for it when the times comes because there will come one hour when it's too late and people cannot turn to God any longer.  Will you be ready when that hour comes?
