Paradise

IMG_3132 Today we got to go to Coqueirinho Beach (pronounced co-kay-reen-you), and it was absolutely beautiful. We had a great day with total sunshine and very few clouds in the sky. Kari and I were both worried about getting sunburnt, so we used SPF 50 sunblock and didn’t end up getting much sun at all!

One of the cool things we saw was a dead sea turtle. This thing was IMG_3125 huge (take a look at our photo album, and you can see Kari next to it)! A friend of ours lifted the shell up, and apparently it had a terrible odor.

The amazing beach definitely made up for all of the heat and humidity without air conditioning that we get to deal with here! I guess it’s not a bad trade-off.
