Redeemed (Isaiah 40-48)

Healing-and-being-redeemed
There are certain promises in the Bible that were meant for a specific people at a specific time.  That is true of Isaiah 43:1b, "'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.'"  The great news, though, is that it applies to us, too, if we've accepted Christ's work on the cross!  We have nothing to be afraid of if we've been redeemed.  We belong to God, and He has called us by name.  He knows us, and He cares for us.  There is nothing that can steal our hope because we know that He will be by our side through everything that comes our way.
