Search me, O God (Psalms 131, 138-139, and 143-145)

I have found that one of the best prayers I can pray from time to time is that of Psalm 139: "Search me, O God."  I kind of look at it as a maintenance prayer.  Just like how cars need to have their alignment done from time to time, this prayer aligns me with my Heavenly Father.  It asks Him to examine my heart and my motives, and it seeks to have those corrected and put back into line with His own.  When is the last time you allowed God to search your heart?  Maybe it's time for a spiritual realignment.
