Have you ever found someone who, when he or she hears about Christ, wants to see the evidence to support that God is real? Even in my own life, I have wondered why miracles don't happen to the same capacity that they did when Jesus walked the earth. Wouldn't God want us to see physical evidence of His existence so that people would believe? The reality is that Jesus did all of these tangible things, and yet people who saw them take place still refused to believe. We read in Matthew 11 that the cities where Jesus did most of his mighty works refused to accept him as the Messiah. That's incredible to me! Apparently people's trust in and reliance on Jesus Christ as the Savior doesn't have as much to do with seeing miraculous things as it does with simply putting one's faith in Him. The evidence was clear, and the people missed it. We sure have a lot of evidence for Christianity today through written records and even changed lives. I hope we do not miss the message, too.
