The kingdom of our world (Revelation 6-11)

June 21, 2008 By Seth Leave a Comment

One of the promises we find in Revelation is that the kingdom of our world will be overtaken by Christ, and it will become His kingdom, and He will reign throughout eternity.  Unfortunately there are those who will not get to participate in His kingdom because they do not trust in Him for salvation.  For those who are trusting, however, we have great hope.  I often hear people comment about just how awful the world is and just how sinful people are.  And while there might be some level of truth to those comments, the follower of Christ has nothing to fear because in this epic battle of good versus evil, good wins.  Jesus is the victor, and He is the One who reigns forever and ever.  We must cling tightly to that hope and trust that, in the end, He will reign victoriously.  Until that time comes, it is our responsibility to faithfully follow Him and live our lives in a way that brings Him glory.
