Getting Settled

July 19, 2010 By Seth Leave a Comment

Kari and I have been busy trying to get settled here in Brazil.  Three students from LifePoint left on Saturday, so now it feels like we’re here to stay!  We were able to find a really nice apartment for a reasonable price and have spent the last week or so purchasing furniture and appliances.  We made a video tour of the apartment that you can see here.

Hopefully we will be able to move in in the next week or so as we try to get settled.  We’ve been able to meet some really nice people.  The guy in the picture up top is my friend Leoh.  He helped with the Medical Clinics and wants me to help him learn English.  Kari and I are both really grateful for the people like Leoh that we have gotten to know.  We’re looking forward to building more relationships as we get settled and inviting people into our new apartment!
